    Jeremy Earnhart, Ed.D.

    President, Scholastic Music & Fine Arts Consulting

     

    Dr. Jeremy Earnhart founded Scholastic Music & Fine Arts Consulting, LLC, in December 2024. From 2018 to 2024, he served as an executive at Music for All, Inc., guiding the organization through the challenges of the pandemic and the multi-year return to live events. Dr. Earnhart helped expand the number of Bands of America Championships by 40% and was instrumental in creating the TeachMusic Coalition to address the national shortage of music educators.

    A long-time Bands of America adjudicator, Dr. Earnhart has judged the Texas UIL State Marching Contest multiple times — his expertise has been sought at prestigious events across the U.S.. He has extensive consulting and clinician experience with top-tier programs such as Broken Arrow (OK), Coppell (TX), Lafayette (LA), and world-class drum and bugle corps Phantom Regiment and The Cavaliers, with a love for helping developing programs reach their full potential.

    Dr. Earnhart served as Director of Fine Arts for the Arlington (TX) Independent School District (AISD) from 2013 to 2017, overseeing a 22% increase in secondary performing arts participation and contributing to a historic $663.1 million bond initiative including a $50M District-wide Fine Arts Center and Fine Arts & Dual Language Academies and secured nearly $10M for instruments and uniforms. Dr. Earnhart also introduced a groundbreaking partnership with UNT to create dual-credit music courses and established the nation’s first public/private partnership course in Musical Instrument Repair with Music & Arts. AISD launched the first Texas chapter of United Sound, providing musical experiences for students with disabilities through peer mentorship.

    Prior experience includes serving as Director of Fine Arts for Irving (TX) ISD from 2009 to 2013, where he guided a 40% increase in secondary fine arts participation. Before transitioning into district-level administration, he was the director of the L.D. Bell High School Band in Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD from 1998 to 2009, leading the band to state and national championships.

    Dr. Earnhart holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music Education from the University of North Texas, studied trumpet under Dr. Leonard Candelaria, and performed in top ensembles under Eugene Corporon and Dennis Fisher — he was also a Two O’Clock Lab Band member under James Riggs. He holds certifications in International Baccalaureate Music, an Executive Certificate in Leadership & Management from MIT, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.​

    Dr. Earnhart resides in the Indianapolis metro area with his wife, Gwendolyn, a former music educator who now works as an accountant, and their daughter, Kierstyn, an all-state trumpet player and standout basketball lead guard.
